What is a Death/Grief Doula?
A death or grief doula provides emotional, practical, and spiritual support during a pet’s end-of-life journey and after their passing. Marisa can help you prepare for what lies ahead, care for your pet during their final days, plan a meaningful goodbye, and navigate grief after your loss. This support complements, but does not replace, veterinary care.
What will Working with You Look Like?
Support is shaped around you, your pet, and what you are facing. Sessions may include end-of-life preparation, emotional support, help thinking through your wishes, memorial planning, rituals, keepsakes, or grief guidance. Spiritual or nature-based elements can be included when they feel meaningful to you, but they are always optional.

Death/Grief Doula?
Support may be helpful if your pet has received a serious diagnosis, you are noticing signs of decline, you are facing euthanasia decisions, you want support during the final days or you are grieving after a loss.
