about us

With a unique blend of holistic care, nature-based rituals, and soulful companionship, Graceful Passings supports pet parents through the end-of-life journey and loss of a beloved animal companion.

This work honors the deep bond you share with your pet, offering gentle guidance, presence, and care during one of the hardest moments of loving an animal. Every journey matters. Every animal life is sacred.

About Graceful Passings

Graceful Passings provides personalized end-of-life and pet loss support for those navigating the decline, passing, or death of a cherished animal companion.

Whether you are facing anticipatory grief, making difficult end-of-life decisions such as euthanasia, or mourning the loss of your pet, you don’t have to move through it alone. Graceful Passings offers grounded, compassionate presence to help you slow down, feel supported, and honor what matters most during this time.

As a non-medical pet doula, I support you emotionally, spiritually, and practically as you prepare for your pet’s passing and the early days of grief that follow. My role is not to rush or fix your pain, but to help create a calm, supportive space where love, presence, and dignity can remain at the center.

From bedside vigils and gentle ritual work to memorial planning, legacy keepsakes, and education around the signs of decline, I help you care for both your pet and yourself during this sacred transition.

About Marisa

Marisa is a certified End-of-Life Pet Doula through the University of New England, with additional training in end-of-life care through the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA). Her background in hospice support, grief facilitation, and ritual work deeply informs the compassionate, grounded care she offers to pet parents.

She has cared professionally for animals for over four years and has always felt a profound connection to them. Her work is guided by respect for the human–animal bond and an understanding of how deeply a pet’s presence shapes our lives, routines, and sense of home.

Marisa is also a professional intuitive, Reverend, reiki master, spiritual life coach, and wilderness guide. These roles support her ability to hold calm, non-judgmental space for grief, helping pet parents process loss, find meaning, and honor their animal’s life in ways that feel personal and true.

She lives in Seattle with her pug, Ella, and spends much of her time outdoors in local parks, hiking, and staying connected to nature. Her approach to pet loss care is rooted in presence, compassion, and the belief that loving an animal is a sacred relationship worthy of care, ritual, and remembrance.
